When you pay rent at Uncommon, you’re getting more than just an apartment. You’re getting access to a wealth of amenities unlike anything else in Raleigh. You’re getting utilities like water, sewer, trash, cable and blazing-fast WiFi. But most of all, you’re joining a community of explorers and adventurers.

The amenities at our apartments in Raleigh are exclusively available to residents and their guests—it’s one of the amazing perks of living Uncommon!
An individual lease means independence, autonomy, and freedom from traditional leases. When you lease an apartment at Uncommon, you’ll be signing your own individual lease agreement. That means that you will be responsible for your own portion of the rent, and nobody else’s. The rent you pay pertains to your bedroom and your share of the total cost of the unit. No more worrying about anybody’s finances but your own!
At Uncommon, we don’t require cosigners for our leases. Instead, we require guarantors. Learn about guarantors below.
Guarantors are a third party outside of a tenant and a landlord that ensure the timely, full payment of rent. Usually, these are financially stable individuals close to Uncommon residents.
Our online applications are easy and only take about fifteen minutes to complete. You’ll begin by creating your account. From there, you’ll fill out some personal info and fill out a quick survey just in case we need to match you with a roommate. Once you input guarantor information and some financial details, you’ll be on your way to signing your own personalized, individual lease agreement. For any questions along the way, contact our leasing office and one of our Uncommonly friendly team members will be happy to assist you.
Each unit at our apartments in Raleigh will have its own mailbox in the mailroom on the first floor of the building located near the resident lounge and leasing office. All mail for the entire unit will be delivered there. If a package doesn’t fit in the mailbox, it will be delivered to our leasing office.
We make things easy with our online Resident Portal. Paying rent is done completely online and can even be automated! When you become a resident, you’ll create an account to access your Resident Portal, where you’ll see an option in the dashboard to pay your rent each month.
The Resident Portal is where you can also go to submit maintenance requests. You can see a log of the maintenance requests you’ve submitted and the status of each. You can navigate to the maintenance tab in the portal, or you can simply press the “Submit Maintenance Request” button on the homepage of the dashboard.
